Who are the Administrators of the Rose City Tgirls website in case I have a problem?

I am not a 100% sure what I can or can’t post or say on the website. Where can I find the Member Guidelines for Rose City Tgirl website?  Go to the “Member Section” tab at the top of the website and then click on “Member Guidelines” We suggest that everyone reads and follows these guidelines.

 

Where can I find the Terms and Conditions of the website?  Go to “Info” tab at the top of the website and then click on “Terms and Conditions”

 

Do I have to maintain a profile picture and a cover photo to remain a member?   Yes…Both a profile picture (the large photo at the bottom of your profile) and a cover photo  (a small display picture next to your name) are required for all members

 

How much access to this website can the general public see?  The general public can only view our FAQ Page, Events Page, News Page, Admin Page, and the About Page. They have no access to Profiles, Messaging, Photos or any other private information. 

 

How do add a friend to my friends list? Click on “Members Section”….then click on “Members” on menu bar, Find the member you want to friend and on the right it will have a button to add as friend. Click the button to send a friend request and hopefully they love you enough to approve you. 🙂

 

How do I find the page that shows the members that have passed away?  We do have a “RIP” page for the members that we have lost since our group was formed in 2008. Simply go to the “Member Section” tab at the top of the website and click on the “RIP Girls”

 

What is the easiest way to contact someone if I have a question or a suggestion for the RCTG website? Click on “Contact”  tab at the top of the website.

 

 

PHOTO QUESTIONS 2

Can you please explain the profile picture, cover picture and cover page?   To make it simple, you have 2 profile pictures.  One is the one you uploaded to register for the site (the large one at the bottom of your profile) and the other is the profile picture on your cover page which you add after you register (a small display picture next to your name). You are required to have both a full size profile picture (the one you registered with) and the profile picture on your cover page (a small display picture next to your name). Your “cover page” itself is simply the background that you choose as a background for your small profile picture (the small display picture next to your name).  A cover background is not required, just the photo is.

 

How do I change my full size profile picture (the large photo at the bottom of your profile)?   Click on “My Account”….Click on “Profile”….Click on link that says “Edit”…Scroll down the page….At the top of your full size picture click on “Browse”….pick the file of the picture you want to upload….Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Save Changes” and you’re done! 🙂

 

How do I add or change my profile picture on my cover page (the small display picture next to your name)?   Click on “My Account”….Click on “Profile”….Hit the link that says “Change Profile Pic”….Select your file for your new picture….You should then see that picture appear asking to be cropped….The size of the pic is limited so crop the picture pulling the corners outward and move the box to your desired picture size….Click on “Crop Image” and you’re done! 🙂

 

How do I change my cover page background (this is the background that displays behind your small display photo)?   Click on “My Account”….Click on “Profile”….Click on the box on the cover page that’s says “Change Cover”….Click “Browse”….Pick your file for your new cover page……scroll down and click on “Save”…you’re done! 🙂

 

Am I allowed to have nude photos on this site?  Yes, but all nude or naughty photos must be kept in private galleries and must NOT be made public for all members to see.  So, it is totally acceptable for you store nude photos in your galleries. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THAT THE GALLERY IS NOT PUBLIC.

 

How much storage space do I have for my personal photos?  Each member right now has 4GB of storage. In the future, we plan on making it unlimited storage for your use.  We strongly recommend you watch that each of your photos are normal size and not over a MB per photo because that will use up space fast.

 

Can my photos be viewed by the outside public?  No… Only members of the website can view your photos including your profile picture and your cover photo.

 

My Photo uploaded sideways, how do I fix it? It turns sideways because the photo you downloaded was an extremely large file. You can resize the resolution and download it again or contact an Admin ASAP and they will fix it for you. 🙂

 

How do I create my own photo gallery? Click on “My Account”….”Profile”….Then in your profile click on “Gallery”…then “Create a Gallery” and you are there! 🙂

 

Do I get to store my photos on this website for free? Yes…store all you want and even if you decide to leave the group, we will make sure you can retrieve them back if needed. This is a safe place to keep your pictures and we constantly back up our website.

 

How do I delete an entire photo gallery, audio file or any other file out of the “Photo’s” section? Click on the “Photo’s” tab…Find the gallery or file you would like to delete and click on “Delete”…It will ask you “Are you sure?”…Click “Yes”….this will take you back to your profile section and at the bottom you will see a box to check that says “Yes, I understand and want to delete“….Check the box and then click on “Yes, I understand and want to delete”

 

MESSAGING QUESTIONS

What am I allowed to post as a member?  We have very few things you can’t post about. We want to avoid sex posts (especially Craigslist type ads), religious posts, and political posts as it spurs on un-needed debates. We just get nowhere with those subjects.

 

Can we send Private Messages on this website? Yes…click on your profile….click on Messages…click on Compose and then you can send a Private Message to a single individual or a message to the entire group. You can also find a members profile and click on “private message”

 

 How do I post a message to the entire group? Simply click on Message Board and type your message to the group inside the box under Site Wide Activity and hit “Post Update” on the bottom right corner.

 

How do I post a YouTube video to the entire group? First copy the web address of the YouTube video you would like to post…Click on the Message Board…and in the white box paste the YouTube address inside of it. Hit “Post Update” and the actual YouTube video will appear and not just the link itself.

 

How do I post a video, a song, a picture or any other file to the entire group? Click on “Message Board”…Click your curser inside the white text box and you will see a set of icons appear just under the left hand side of the text box…..Click on the far left icon only (this is for videos, pics, songs and files) and pick the file you would like to upload…IMPORTANT! When it is done uploading (you will see the file there with a red x in case you want to delete it), and click your curser inside the white box again and the click on “Post Update”

 

How do I check to see if I have any new messages?  2 ways…1) Go to your profile and click on the “Messages” link… or 2) From the website go to the “My Account” tab and click on “Messages”

 

When I go the Message Board Tab, it lists everything on the board like “who friended who”, gallery updates, newly registered people, who updated their profiles, etc….How can I just view the posts only on the Message Board? If you look to the right side of the Message Board page, you see a scroll bar that defaults to Show “Everything”. If you hit the scroll bar, it gives you options. The one that reads “Updates” are all the messages ONLY that have been posted on the message board.

 

I don’t sign on all that often. How do I find older messages on the Message Board or scroll back to read older messages posted to the Message Board? Simply scroll to the bottom of the Message Board posts and hit “View More”.  As a suggestion, as it is stated in the question above, it might be simpler to first change Show “Everything” to Show “Updates” so you see just the messages and not all the other things that really wont mean anything to you.

 

ACCOUNT QUESTIONS

How do I change my password?  Go to “My Account” and then down to “Settings”… At the bottom left is your password box. Just enter your new password in both boxes. ALWAYS LEAVE THESE BOXES BLANK IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD. JUST SIMPLY LEAVE THEM ALONE.

 

How do I change my email address that is linked to my account?  Go to the “My Account” tab on the top of the website and click on “Settings”…You will a box with your email address in it. Delete the old email and type in your new email address and hit “Save Changes”

 

Is this like our Yahoo group? Do I get emails and if so, where are the email settings? Yes and No… Unlike the Yahoo Group, we do not get emails from any posts on the “Site Wide Activity” board located on the tab “Message Boards”. However, we do get emails for Private Messages, Friends Lists and other things. To set your email settings…Click on “My Account”….Click on “Settings”…Click on the “Email” link and you will see your options there.

 

 

Notifications2

What exactly do the “Notifications” mean that I see when I am viewing my profile? Notifications are usually the first thing you want to click on when you go to your profile if it shows that you have them. Unlike the “Messaging” link that only shows your current messages, the “Notifications” link will show all your Private Messages, replies to any of your Private Messages, Replies to any of your posts, any new friends requests, any important messages from the website and any important messages sent from any of the Administrators.

Is there a quick way to get to my notifications?  Yes…No matter where you are on the website, you can go right to the “My Account” tab and click on “Notifications”
